I am a Painter, Printmaker, and Fiber Artist. I use line and color to explore abstract images. As an artist, I work from an emotional perspective to discover an automatic writing. For me, creating art is like a ritual. The ritual can be just as important as the final image. Experimentation with a variety of mediums and techniques are an important part of this process. When I create art, I empathize with my subject matter and find myself observing from a different plane, a place that activates my senses from my own perspective. This realm is what I seek to portray.
